Harlequin Binky

A pleasant path is sometimes best enjoyed in small stages. The harlequin rabbit pauses beneath the trees, hops a little farther, and turns toward the white flowers along the stones. Those unhurried stops make the journey feel as worthwhile as wherever it might lead.

“Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.”
Proverbs 3:17 (KJV)

The “her” in this verse refers to wisdom, personified in Proverbs as something precious to seek and hold. The surrounding passage values wisdom above material riches and describes the well-being it brings. Its peaceful paths suggest a life guided by sound judgment and understanding.

The flower-lined walk offers a gentle setting in which to consider that direction. Wisdom often takes shape through modest, repeated decisions: listening carefully, considering consequences, or choosing words that make a difficult conversation more constructive. Such habits help cultivate peace over time.

We may still encounter trouble along a wisely chosen path, but we have ways of traveling it that protect what matters. The rabbit’s pauses can remind us that attention is part of moving well. May we give ourselves time to consider our next steps, and may the choices we make leave greater room for peace in our relationships.
