“And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.”

Getting older can feel unsettling. Bodies change, roles shift, and the future may look smaller than it once did. Isaiah offers one of the most tender promises in Scripture: even to your old age and gray hair, I am He who will carry you. God does not grow tired of us as the years pass. He made us, and He will bear us. A porch at sunset is a natural place to sit with that thought. The day is ending, but you are still held. Whatever season of life you are in, you have not outlived His care.
