The Congregation at the Wall

Paul’s instruction is direct: set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. It is easy for our hearts to get tangled in what is temporary, our status, possessions, worries, and the endless noise around us. This verse calls us to lift our gaze. Not to ignore earthly life, but to let heaven set our priorities. A city wall painted in bold color can feel like a message meant for everyone who passes. This one is. Look up, it says. Your life is hidden with Christ. Let your heart follow where your treasure is.
