“I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.”
Genesis 9:13 (KJV)
After the flood, God set His bow in the clouds as a sign of His covenant with the earth. It was a promise never again to destroy the world by water. Every rainbow since has been a reminder of God’s faithfulness. It appears after storms, when the sun breaks through the rain. Many of us have faced storms that felt overwhelming. Look for the rainbow. God keeps His promises, and His mercy outlasts every storm. The colors in the sky are His signature on a covenant He will not break.
