“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16 (KJV)
Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means. Paul’s blessing is generous: peace always, by all means. Not peace sometimes or in certain situations, but in every circumstance. And it comes from the Lord of peace Himself. Fireflies keeping watch over a quiet river at twilight capture that gentle, persistent peace. Their small lights shine steadily in the dusk. May the Lord of peace give you His peace tonight, always and in every way.
