A Little Journey, Never Alone

A white rabbit hops out of the shadows of a deep green forest, picking its way along a narrow dirt trail between mossy roots and tall ferns. It pauses to look around, ears up and curious, then carries on down the path until it is only a small pale shape among the trees. The clip is short and quiet, set only to music.

“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
Psalm 121:8 (KJV)

Psalm 121 was a song for travelers heading up to Jerusalem, people walking long and uncertain roads. It ends with this wide promise. Every departure and every return, every ordinary trip and every hard one, sits under God’s keeping. The psalm does not say the road will be easy, only that the traveler is watched over the whole way.

New paths can feel lonely, especially when the trees close in and the way ahead is hard to see. The little rabbit does not know where the trail ends, but it keeps going one hop at a time. That is often how faith works too. We do not need to see the whole journey to trust the One who walks it with us.
