“Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.”
2 Chronicles 15:7 (KJV)
Weariness has a way of loosening our grip. The prophet Azariah spoke these words to a king trying to lead his people back toward God, and the encouragement still lands: be strong, do not let your hands go slack, because your work will be rewarded. Not all work feels rewarding in the moment. Studying, serving, raising children, caring for someone who is ill: it often feels like no one sees. But God does. Faithful effort is never wasted in His economy. Pick up the task again today, even if your hands are tired. The reward is real, even if it is not yet visible.
