“And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only…”

Jesus says that even a cup of cold water given to one of His little ones will not go unrewarded. It is a remarkable statement about the value of small kindnesses. A cup of water costs almost nothing. Yet given in His name, it matters to God. We often think we need to do something big to make a difference. This verse says otherwise. Refilling a water bottle, noticing a child, offering a drink to someone tired: these are the stuff of the kingdom. Look for a little one today who needs something simple. Your small gift is seen.
