“How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!”
Psalm 84:1 (KJV)
How lovely is Your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts. The psalmist longs for God’s house the way some long for home. There is a homesickness in this psalm, a desire to be near God’s presence. A small white chapel in a golden field captures that longing. It is simple, quiet, and welcoming. Worship is not about grand buildings, but about meeting God. Wherever His people gather, His dwelling is lovely. If you feel far from home today, this verse is an invitation. Draw near. The door is open, and the field is full of light.
