“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”
Psalm 147:4 (KJV)
He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names. The God who counts the stars and knows each one by name is the same God who, the verse before says, heals the brokenhearted. Infinite power and tender care belong together in Him. Under a sky so full of stars that no one could count them, it is easy to feel small. But God is not overwhelmed by the vastness. He knows every star, and He knows you. Your name is not lost among the multitudes.
