“This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.”
Psalm 118:23 (KJV)
Some things can only be explained as the LORD’s doing. Psalm 118 says this about a stone the builders rejected, which became the cornerstone. What people dismissed, God used. It is marvelous in our eyes. We are often quick to credit luck when something good happens unexpectedly. This verse invites us to see God’s hand instead. A butterfly landing on clover might look like chance, but much of life is far more carefully arranged than it appears. When something good surprises you this week, pause and give thanks. It may be marvelous for a reason.
