“Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.”
Job 37:14 (KJV)
Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. Elihu says this to Job in the middle of a long conversation about suffering, and it remains good advice. Sometimes we need to stop talking, stop striving, and simply look. Creation is full of wonders that we rush past every day. The moonlit forest on this card, with its glowing stump and quiet stream, invites that kind of pause. God’s works are not just impressive; they reveal His character. Stand still for a moment today, and consider what He has made.
