“He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.”
Psalm 104:10 (KJV)
Psalm 104 is a hymn of creation, celebrating how God cares for everything He has made. He sends springs into the valleys, and they run among the hills, giving drink to every beast of the field. Water finds its way down to where it is needed most. God’s provision works like that, flowing into the low places. A water wheel turns steadily, powered by a stream it did not create. We are sustained the same way, by a grace that flows from a source beyond ourselves. Give thanks for the springs in your valleys today.
