The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Psalm 126 is a song of returning exiles, remembering how God restored them after a long captivity. Their joy was so great they felt like they were dreaming. Remembering what God has done fuels gratitude and hope. Roses blooming in the light of a rose-gold sunset feel like a picture of that joy.
