“He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.”
Daniel 2:22 (KJV)
There is so much we do not know: what tomorrow holds, why certain prayers seem unanswered, what someone else is carrying behind a smile. Daniel’s words are a comfort for people living with unanswered questions. God knows what is in the darkness, and light lives with Him. Nothing is hidden from Him, and nothing confuses Him. Autumn reveals what was there all along, the reds and golds that summer green had covered. In time, God reveals what we need to see. Until then, it is enough to know that the One who holds the secrets also holds us.
