“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
Psalm 34:8 (KJV)
Taste and see. David invites us to experience God’s goodness, not just to hear about it. Faith includes believing truths, but it also includes noticing, savoring, and trusting enough to try. An apple on the grass is a simple picture of that invitation. You do not fully understand the sweetness until you take a bite. Many people learn about God’s goodness only when they lean on Him in a hard season and find He holds. Blessed is the one who trusts Him, the psalm says. Take a step of trust today, and taste for yourself that He is good.
