“For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.”
Psalm 36:9 (KJV)
Stained glass is dark until light passes through it. Then every piece, even the cracked and uneven ones, becomes part of something beautiful. The psalmist puts it simply: in Your light we see light. We do not generate our own clarity; we receive it. When life feels murky, the instinct is to try harder to figure everything out. This verse suggests another way: stand closer to the source. The fountain of life is not an idea to master but a presence to draw from. Let the light come through, and the colors will take care of themselves.
