Some verses are short enough to carry around all day. The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. Not partly full, not occasionally full, but full. It is there in rushing water and in quiet moss, in the cold clarity of a mountain stream and the warmth of a kitchen at dinner. We tend to notice what is lacking. This verse trains the eyes to notice what is overflowing. Take a slow walk today, or simply look out a window, and count a few signs of His goodness. The list will likely run longer than expected.
