“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
Psalm 100:4 (KJV)
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Psalm 100 describes how to approach God: with gratitude. Thanksgiving opens the door. It turns our attention from our problems to His goodness. Before we ask for anything, we remember what He has already done. A cathedral aisle, golden with light, feels like a pathway into His presence. Begin your prayers today with thanks. Bless His name, and let gratitude carry you through the gates.
