“For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.”
Psalm 18:28 (KJV)
For thou wilt light my candle. David wrote these words after God delivered him from his enemies. He knew what it was to be in darkness, and he knew who brought the light. God does not just guide us through darkness; He transforms it. Fireflies dancing in a twilight meadow are a beautiful picture of light appearing where it is least expected. If you are in a dark season, hold onto this promise. The LORD your God will enlighten your darkness. Little lights are already beginning to glow.
