“He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.”
Psalm 147:16 (KJV)
He giveth snow like wool: He scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. Psalm 147 celebrates God’s care over creation, even in winter. Snow falling softly over autumn leaves is a beautiful reminder that God is at work in every season. Winter can feel harsh, but it is also a time of rest and preparation. Beneath the snow, life waits for spring. If you are in a winter season, cold and quiet, remember that God is still at work. He gives snow like wool, soft and covering, and spring will come again.
